Mike Luzio, Chief Executive Officer/President

Mike Luzio, Chief Executive Officer/President

As co-founder of IRG, Mike is vastly responsible for its rapid growth and success since its inception in 2004. Mike began his telecommunications career at Network Access Solutions (NAS) in Northern Virginia where he received numerous awards for sales and leadership, rapidly rising through the executive ranks. With sales performance numbers consistently at the top each year, Mike helped to make NAS a premier name in managed broadband services while his own name soon became synonymous with superior sales and service amongst industry leaders. In the year 2000, Sprint Corporation recruited Mike to New York City where his sales record excelled as the youngest member of the Global Acquisitions group focused exclusively on the Fortune 500 vertical market.

Currently, Mike continues to lead IRG into the next decade, sharply focused on maintaining the company's position as a nationally-recognized Managed Services Provider within the retail and multi-site marketplace. Mike is in tune with the pulse of the retail industry, learning and sharing better ways for retailers to leverage their broadband and provide a more powerful customer experience.

Mike earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, where he is a member of the prestigious Omicron Delta Kappa leadership fraternity. He continues to take pride in his Alma Mater as a steadfast supporter of academics and athletics and is involved in numerous charitable organizations which represent the cornerstone of his character. Joe's role as COO has him owning the 'IRG Process,' the cornerstone of IRG's service bundle evolution, deployment and ongoing support continuum. From a day-to-day perspective, this includes vendor and partner evaluation and selection, product design, deployment design and execution, customer-specific and cross-departmental service impact analysis, financial modeling analysis and review, and customer support executive sponsorship. Strategically, Joe evaluates next generation products and services via executive manufacturer and service provider relationships, industry-specific trade partnerships, and C-level counterpart interactions in an effort to keep IRG as the go-to MSP for merchants. Joe credits compartmentability as his secret to success in being able to equally bring many disparate projects and deliverables to completion on time, without negatively impacting one another, and always keeping the client experience positive and referenceable.

Joe began his IT career with Network Access Solutions (NAS), one of the nation's first CLEC, pioneering the use of DSL as a Layer 2 and Layer 3 access technology. He achieved top sales honors and awards throughout his tenure with NAS in their Enterprise Channel, while developing a highly successful niche in the retail and multi-site sector.
